Yes, a maximum of 4 pieces of tissue can be placed in each cassette. Each additional piece of tissue beyond the fourth will result in a charge of $3.96 for each additional piece.

Please maintain your paraffin blocks at room temperature in either a plastic bag or in a block tray. Do not constrict the blocks (i.e. securing them with a rubber band) or store them in a warm/sunny place. The reason for this is that paraffin is soft and  even when solidified, constricting the blocks or exposing them to warmth can alter the protective layer of wax encasing your sample. This could warrant re-embedding and additional charges if not done correctly.
