Our goal is to provide a full range of histology services in support of research into the etiology and pathogenesis of diseases with special emphasis on gastrointestinal diseases. We provide a full range of histology services encompassing routine and specialized grossing, tissue processing, paraffin embedding, microtomy, H&E and special staining, and immunohistochemistry. Consultations are also available.

We also have an open collaboration which includes slide scanning, automated scoring, and immunohistochemistry being provided by the UNC Pathology Services Core (PSC).
