How to Prepare Samples for Drop Off

Before bringing fixed tissue samples in cassettes to the Core:

1. Label cassettes with ethanol resistant marker or pencil. Place your order through iLabs and attach a document with your sample IDs, tissue type, and any additional instructions to the iLabs site. This document is necessary in order for your samples to be properly processed.
2. Place cassettes directly into a container of 70% ethanol (Do not bring samples in fixative). Please label your container of samples with your name, PI, and email address.
3. Bring with your tissues, your list of samples, and a copy of your work request. Make sure your email address is also on your paperwork. If no one is here, please leave all items in the drop-off bin, on the blue cart, outside of RM 030 Glaxo.

**Maximum of 4 pieces of tissue per cassette**
